Team Lead, Invoice to Pay

Purpose of the position

 

As a Team Lead, Invoice to Pay (1-year fixed contract) at Hiab, you’ll be at the forefront of our finance service operations—leading a team of 10–15 professionals to deliver high-quality, efficient, and compliant ITP services. From managing performance and driving process excellence to ensuring seamless collaboration with internal stakeholders, you’ll play a critical role in strengthening the foundation of our source-to-pay operations.

You’ll work closely with local business areas, global process owners, and transition teams to shape scalable finance operations. Main tasks and responsibilities

 

Lead & develop a team of 10-15 team members (depending on the area); represent team interest in management forums

Manage team resources against skills, workload and availability. Own training plan and its execution  

Manage team performance, meet process SLAs and KPIs, oversight of third parties performance. Responsible to collect data and comment on deviations; provide action plan to improve KPI's if needed 

Build positive working relationships with the BAs

Drive continuous improvement opportunities; implement improvement programmes when necessary

Receive and resolve employee inquiries from first line specialists when specific, in-depth functional knowledge is required and escalate if required

Provide improvement ideas for the ITP processes to the HBC Solution and Process Owners

Provide support to the Solution Owners and Process Owners

Build positive working relationships with the Local BA customers and end-users

Provide timely and accurate reporting per agreed reporting schedule

1st escalation point for process-related issues, Own quality checks and their reporting

Manage the Relationship with relevant partners, Constant focus on customer satisfaction and manage customer expectations

Be part of building up the ITP area in the HBC in close cooperation with the project team 

Participate in transition activities when applicable:

Support the transition of processes incl. Knowledge transfer and work shadowing

Any other tasks assigned by the line manager related to the areas of accountability

All work needs to be conducted in compliance with Global Company guidelines, code of conduct, policies, procedures, controls and legal requirements

What you’ll need to succeed

 

Education

Master degree in finance or business  

Experience

+ 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable of which 1-2 years in a supervisory role  (preferably from a Shared Services/BPO environment)

Competencies

Strong experience in operations in the ITP area

Experience with simple to complex query handling

Good understanding of internal controls & risk management.

Strong analytical, problem solving and organisational skills

Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines

Knowledge and experience working with SAP is a plus

Full professional proficiency of written and oral English required

International mindset, Conflict Management and Resolution

Staff Management, Direction Setting, Performance Management, Internal HR processes awareness
