This role will focus on customer segmentation, value proposition definition, competitive analysis, and customer feedback programs to ensure continuous improvement and closed-loop learning. **What you'll do** _As noted above, this list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations._ • Develop detailed customer segmentation models to tailor program offerings, marketing, and engagement strategies for various SMB groups • Define and evolve compelling value propositions for key customer segments, informed by customer research, business performance, and competitive insights • Establish and manage structured customer feedback mechanisms (e.g., surveys, interviews, advisory councils), and ensure that findings translate into actionable program changes • Conduct ongoing market and competitor research to benchmark the AAdvantage Business Program, identify white space, and inform roadmap decisions • Design and implement a closed-loop feedback framework to ensure strategic and operational decisions are grounded in customer insights and measurable impact • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to ensure alignment of strategic direction and successful implementation of new initiatives **All you'll need for success** **Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience** • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field • 4 years of experience in business strategy, marketing, or a related field • Experience with customer segmentation, value proposition definition, and competitive analysis • Experience with customer feedback programs and closed-loop learning **Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience** • Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field • 6 years of experience in business strategy, marketing, or a related field • Experience with loyalty programs and customer loyalty strategies • Experience with data analysis and metrics-driven decision making **Skills, Licenses & Certifications** • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Strong leadership and management skills • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions • Strong project management skills • Experience with data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau • Experience with design thinking and human-centered design principles **What you'll get** Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: + Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
