Our client, an executive search firm focused on energy and commodities, is seeking a Team Assistant to support a Managing Partner in their New York office. The hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30am to 6:00pm, and Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. The role is hybrid, with in-office work Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays.
Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support to the Managing Partner, including calendar management, scheduling, and travel coordination
* Assist with search execution efforts including project tracking, document preparation, and client updates
* Coordinate meetings, prepare presentations, and update project documents
* Act as a point of contact with clients and candidates; manage communication with professionalism and discretion
* Contribute to building and maintaining the firm's candidate and client databases
* Handle general office support tasks as needed in a small-team environment
* Take initiative on ad hoc projects to support search and business development efforts
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree highly preferred
* 2-3+ years of administrative or coordination experience, ideally in professional services
* Prior experience in executive search or interest in growing within the search field strongly preferred
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word (data manipulation, formatting, and presentations)

* $65K-80K base salary plus discretionary bonus
