Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) – $55–$60/hr – San Antonio, TX – In-Person – 15 WeeksPosition Overview: The Teacher for the Visually Impaired provides specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments, helping them access the curriculum and develop essential academic, organizational, and life skills. This educator assesses functional vision, adapts instructional materials, supports accessibility through braille and assistive technology, and collaborates with school staff and families to ensure students receive appropriate accommodations. The TVI plays a key role in IEP development, progress monitoring, and fostering independence and self-advocacy.
