This individual oversees the safety, well-being, and activities of those students in the after-school program. It requires a combination of strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for working with middle-schoolers in a positive and supportive environment. PM Supervision Monday to Friday, 01:30 PM to 06:00 PM -Does not participate in activities that may cause distraction from supervision duties (i.e., cell phone conversations of longer than 2 minutes; no handheld video games or prolonged use of computer in booth) and ensures others on supervision duties are not distracted in the same manner. -Ensure all visitors have been checked in and have appropriate ID badge. Loose playground equipment must be returned to the locker for orderly assignment by the staff. -All clothing items left out must be placed in the Lost and Found area. -Trash must be picked up and thrown away. -Collect all items at the end of shift and store in office or in Lost and Found. -Act as first responder in the event of accident or injury. -May prepare beforehand games, or some other activities to engage the children. -Communicate directly to supervisor on any issues regarding behavior and general well being of the students that occurs during supervision.

As well as the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from parents or staff members. -Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication & division, fractions, decimals and percent. -Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. -TB certification required. -May make basic decisions within the classroom. -Present, organize and convey problems or issues within department and external parties (i.e., parents) in a supporting role. Regularly communicates capabilities to the Teacher and Principal. -Model appropriate behavior in support of CCSD/CCA values.
