The T-Car Operator is responsible for following all safety rules and practices, reading factory orders, converting schedules and other documents to learn customer requirements.  

3rd shift Mon-Fri 11p-7a overtime and weekends as needed

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Operation of T-car and conveyors in a safe mannerLocate stock before the start of runDeliver appropriate stock to appropriate machinesMaintain neat, orderly and safe stacks of stock in storage areaPull masters as neededTurn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairsCommunicate with supervision problems with load building off of corrugator stackersComply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeepingKeep conveyor systems and designated areas cleanMust be forklift certified for loading units onto conveyor systemLearn relevant local and company requirements, rules and procedures.  Strictly follows rules and guidelines and always uses the right procedure for the job. Promptly reports incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions or processes. SWR employees regardless of level, position or tenure are responsible for upholding the safety standards regulations and policies. Additional duties may be assigned by management

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GEDAble to speak, read, comprehend, and write legibly in EnglishIn good physical condition, i.e., able to lift 25-50# on a consistent basisAble to read a tape measure with speed and accuracyPrior work experience in the corrugated industry, preferredBasic computer skills, preferred
