Job Title: Tax Support Specialist
Job Description

Deliver quality customer service to clients via phone, e-mail, chat, and other modes of communication, ensuring documentation of all interactions. Follow up on outstanding items in a timely manner to ensure issue resolution in alignment with service level agreements. Maintain prioritization and organization of assigned tasks with a focus on daily, time-sensitive duties.

ResponsibilitiesProvide support to internal or external clients based on assignment.Complete payments and filings as required.Assist clients with tax agency account registrations or related tasks.Conduct tax notice research through to resolution.Perform data entry, spreadsheet creation, and data verification.Utilize systems such as HRIS, Oracle, MasterTax, Prism, Salesforce, BNA, ClientSpace, and Microsoft Office products.Essential SkillsHigh School graduate or equivalency.2+ years of working experience in a relevant field.Customer service oriented.Administrative support skills.Data entry proficiency.Experience with spreadsheets.Additional Skills & QualificationsPayroll or tax experience preferred.Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple systems and tasks simultaneously.Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and prioritize in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.Familiarity with online knowledge bases and research tools.Work Environment

Work onsite in the Rochester office headquarters approximately from 8am to 5pm in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Rochester, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
