Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Project Admin to assist with year-end tax support on the employer side. This role will also help to manage the increased volume of tax filings during year-end and will be a key contributor to projects involving missing IDs for tax filings. The ideal candidates will have a background in payroll tax, possess strong Excel skills, and be capable of handling case management and amendments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide year-end tax support on the employer side, handling federal and state tax filings.
• Manage high volumes of cases, specifically related to missing IDs for tax filings.
• Work on amendments and case management with a focus on investigating and resolving issues.
• Offer Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for payroll tax cases, assisting Tier 2 team during November to January and Tax Amendments team during February to April.
• Process tax filings, including 940 and 941 forms, and handle employer-level codes.
• Manage case volumes using Excel, leveraging skills such as pivot tables, filtering, and sorting.
• Assist with the manual back-end process on the employee side as needed.
• Stay organized and work efficiently in a system-driven environment.
• Collaborate on projects involving payroll tax investigations and issue resolution.
• Provide support for “agency notices” or other employer-specific tax filings.

Skills and Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
• Experience in payroll or tax filing, particularly with federal and state taxes.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, filtering, and data entry.
• Familiarity with payroll tax processes, especially Form 940 and 941 filings.
• Experience with payroll companies (e.g., UKG, Ceridian, ADP, PayCom) is a plus.
• Ability to manage amendments and case management with an investigative mindset.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in a fast-paced, system-driven environment.
• Familiarity with case management systems is preferred.
• Ability to work across both the employer and employee sides, with a primary focus on the employer side. Nice to Have Skills & Experience
