Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Staff team member to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in tax preparation and compliance to support a diverse range of clients, including corporations, partnerships, and individuals. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities: • Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with a high level of accuracy. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations while identifying opportunities for tax savings. • Utilize CCH ProSystem Fx software to manage and streamline tax preparation processes. • Research and resolve complex tax issues, providing clear recommendations to clients. • Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional client service and maintain strong relationships. • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide informed guidance to clients. • Assist in tax planning strategies to help clients minimize liabilities and achieve financial goals. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards. • Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members as needed. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance. • Proficiency in preparing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns. • Strong knowledge of CCH ProSystem Fx software for tax preparation. • Expertise in federal, state, and local tax regulations. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction. • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
