We’re looking for a Indirect Tax Staff to join our growing Tax team in the Woodlands, TX! **Responsibilities:** + Prepare federal and state excise tax returns + Prepare and review heavy vehicle use tax returns + Prepare property tax returns and bill payment reconciliations + Process bill payments for indirect tax types + Prepare tax accrual and tax payment journal entries + Prepare state and local tax registrations + Maintain the indirect tax compliance calendar + Respond to notices and information requests from tax authorities + Research indirect tax matters based on local regulations **Qualifications:** + 1-2 years of experience working in an accounting department + Excellent organizational and communication skills with an emphasis on detail + Ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines + Tackle and resolve unexpected challenges throughout the workflow process + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel **What’s In It for You?** You will be joining a high profile team and a great company known for its Servant Leadership and “work hard, play harder” culture.
