Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Senior to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will oversee the preparation and review of tax filings, ensuring compliance with corporate tax regulations, and supporting clients with both straightforward and complex tax matters. Responsibilities: • Prepare and review corporate tax filings to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. • Collaborate with staff, managers, and clients to manage tax projects effectively and meet deadlines. • Analyze and implement both simple and complex tax strategies to support client objectives. • Provide technical guidance and expertise on tax-related matters to team members and clients. • Utilize tools such as CCH ProSystem Fx, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks to prepare tax documents and reports. • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance. • Conduct compliance audits and identify opportunities for process improvements. • Support ad hoc reporting needs and assist with financial analysis related to tax matters. • Work with systems like SAP S/4HANA to manage corporate tax data and reporting. • Maintain strong communication with clients to address tax-related inquiries and provide proactive solutions. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate tax compliance and related functions. • Proficiency in using tax software such as CCH ProSystem Fx and accounting tools like QuickBooks. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA for corporate tax management. • Strong understanding of corporate income tax regulations and compliance practices. • Experience conducting compliance audits and preparing ad hoc tax reports. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members. • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
