Job Summary- Tax Coordinator facilitates various responsibilities for the entire tax dept. Manages check processing and tax mail for the dept. Coordinates with 3rd party in the areas of property tax, business licenses, and annual reports. Provides departmental assistance in assorted projects that arise. Essential Functions- Assists in data gathering and correspondence with 3rd party provider in the property tax area Assists in data gathering and correspondence with 3rd party provider for business licenses and annual reports Opens and distributes tax mail to the entire tax dept and assists in outgoing mailing items to taxing jurisdictions Manages and facilitates all AP contact items such as check requests, vendor setup, etc. Prepares lower level account reconciliations regarding property tax related GL accounts Works with Accountants on AD HOC Tax projects as needed Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Requires multitasking abilities to handle several different job responsibilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Requires excellent time management and organizational skills Education and Experience- 6-8+ years of progressively responsible professional-level tax experience in Corporate Environment AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
