This role will be working with tax compliance processes for the United States, will be responsible to perform transactional level tasks, generating reports, performing month end close tax activities, preparation of tax return and other tax compliance external and internal processes for the company. The tax specialist should become knowledgeable in tax rules, US compliance and filing requirements. The tax specialist should prepare the paperwork for tax returns and any information required to prepare the returns as per US requirements. Ensure returns and obligations are filed timely and accurately.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Coordinate timely monthly/quarterly/annually US tax returns for each of the business units. Analyze, prepare, and pay timely US tax returns. Answer any inquiries about US tax related matter. Keep control and ensure all relevant documentation that supports tax filings are properly saved in a single repository. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and generate saving to the business. Manage US tax reconciliation files. Assist with the internal tax controls to ensure tax fillings quality and timely submission. Apply appropriate internal controls in compliance with Corporate Policies and Procedure (CP&P) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Assist with special projects assigned or requested by POC or tax department. Who You Are:You identify and create the necessary processes to get work done. You partner with others to get work done. For This Role, You Will Need: 2+ years of experience in Finance and or US or local Tax Transactions. Previous US tax environment exposure is a plus Advanced computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, etc. Experience working with an automated accounting system (eg: Oracle, SAP, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM). Knowledge in Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, and Dataverse are plus. Relevant experience in the field of taxation is an advantage. Excellent communication both verbal and written in English B2 Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: BSBA degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Business Administration.
