Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a:
**T** **ax** **Specialist, International Assignment Services (IAS)** .
**Location: Prague, Czech Republic**
**Full-time, Permanent contract**
The position is eligible to participate in J&J Flex, working days both in the office and remote each week.
The **Tax** **Specialist, International Assignment Services** will actively coordinate with employees the collection and payment process of tax equalization settlements and tax refunds resulting from international assignment. This will require working collaboratively in conjunction with the Corporate Services (Talent Mobilization Tax COE), external vendors (Deloitte & SIRVA), line managers and other internal process partners (ER/LR, BUHR).
**Major Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Coordinate and arrange with employees payment or repayment options.
+ Adhere to SLA’s in the follow up with employees who are non-responsive
+ Coordinate with local J&J teams for settlements, including verifying if balances and tax refunds have been received. Keep databases updated to reflect accuracy of status of settlements.
+ Proactively monitor terminations report to ensure proper and timely settlement of outstanding balances with BUHR/ERLR.
+ Operates, performs, completes, and prioritizes tasks with a customer centric-oriented compliance mindset and in accordance with defined Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
+ Observes utmost integrity and develops and maintains mutually trusted and respected relationships with customers, with supervisors/managers, with co-team members and when needed, with vendors.
+ Takes ownership of all assigned tasks, initiatives, and inquiries, makes sure they are resolved/ completed efficiently and accurately with a superior level of quality and shows openness and willingness to learn and to hear feedback and advice on areas for improvement and development.
+ Execute key transactions, including maintaining documentation, trackers and data accuracy.
+ Document, recommend, and make process improvements with a focus on automation to enhance efficiency.
+ Performs other tasks or projects as may be deemed needed for the role or as may be assigned
**Qualifications - External**
+ Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Accounting, Finance, Tax or similar functions)
+ Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience
+ Prior experience in the fields of payroll, finance, accounting or tax a strong plus.
+ Cross cultural sensitivity.
+ Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proactiveness and follow-through to resolve any outstanding issues.
+ Track record of collaborating with cross functional teams
+ Proficient in Excel including but not limited to using pivot tables, sorting and filtering large volumes of data.
+ Experience with Power BI preferred
+ Experience with leveraging AI powered support tools or process automated preferred but not required.
