With over $40 billion in assets under management nationally and a robust local presence serving 200+ families, we’re seeking an experienced and client-focused Senior Tax Planning CPA to enhance our tax advisory capabilities. In this role, you will collaborate directly with Wealth Advisors, estate planners, and other specialists to craft proactive and sophisticated tax strategies for clients with complex needs—ranging from business owners to multi-generational families. This is a high-impact, visible position where your tax expertise will support both existing relationships and prospective client engagements. Key Responsibilities + Design and implement advanced tax strategies across estate, charitable, business succession, and investment planning areas. + Partner with advisors to provide integrated planning around trusts, stock options, real estate, and closely held businesses. + Analyze tax returns to uncover planning opportunities aligned with clients’ broader financial goals. + Educate clients by translating complex tax topics into clear, actionable insights. + Serve as a subject matter expert on tax law changes and provide firmwide thought leadership. + Support business development through tax-driven value propositions in prospect meetings. Requirements Qualifications + Active CPA license required; MST or similar advanced tax credential strongly preferred. + Minimum 7 years of tax planning experience (emphasis on planning, not preparation). + Demonstrated success advising high-net-worth individuals and families on complex tax matters. + Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative, client-first approach. + Proven ability to thrive in dynamic environments with evolving responsibilities and opportunities.
