Adecco is assisting one of their top clients with their search to fill a **Tax Operations Rep!** Pay: $ 24.43/hr Location: Training Onsite – After training Hybrid Shift: Mon - Fri Training 7:30am – 4pm. Office hours 8am – 5pm Contract: Temp **Job Description:** This role is in Consumer Tax Operations. Responsibilities include reviewing and validating IRS Form W-8 (Certificate of Foreign Status), IRS For W-9 (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number) and Signature Cards for interest bearing consumer deposit accounts. Will do mailings to customers for missing or expired Form W8/W9. Will support team process functions. All job functions require adherence to IRS and bank guidelines. **Experience required for this Tax Operations Rep person position include:** · Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications · Must be detailed oriented, an independent thinker and able to handle multiple functions concurrently while following related regulations and procedures to effectively deliver optimal performance and accuracy within deadlines. · Must be able to navigate and use various internal systems to research, review, update and confirm customer tax status. · Must have strong written and verbal communication skills · Must be able to accommodate an 8-hour work schedule between 8 am to 5 am M-F and work overtime during high volume tax season which may include weekends. · Bank operations experience As a reminder, this role is being recruited for by one of our National Recruitment Teams and not your local Branch.
