Our Global Tax Team provides support and advice for all tax processes for Baker Hughes. We ensure the accuracy of forecasting, Tax provision, quarterly and annual close and settlement. We oversee Tax compliance,  we work with reporting tools to provide information for Tax audits and ensure compliance with company and corporate policies.

As a Tax Operations Analyst, you will have the opportunity to gain Tax experience with a global energy technology company. You will interact with key business functions to provide advice and guidance for Tax related matters. You will be involved in fast-moving projects that deliver a value to our customers.
 

As a Tax Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for:
 

Participating in Tax reporting (VAT ,WHT,VAT for non-residents, property tax) and accounting processesPreparing and analysis of financial data and other relevant info required for local tax filings/ tax audits.Being the interface with finance, auditors, tax agents and corporate tax team with regard to the tax lifecycle activities.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide support for Tax cycles, functions and quarterly reporting to ensure complianceGathering financial information from business units to assist with Tax and audit queriesPreparing and delivering information for tax audit purposesCommunicating with colleagues to provide insight for data gathering and analysis to cross-functional teams and our businessWorking on ad-hoc special projects to deliver results to our business in a fast moving global-environment

To be successful in this role you will:
 

Have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit or related fieldHave minimum 2-3 years of professional expertise in Tax/StatutoryDemonstrate experience of preparing VAT ,WHT reportingDemonstrate experience of Excel and be comfortable with data analysisExperience with ERP/SAP systems is an advantageBe a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solving problems and providing resolutionsShow excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsBe fluent in oral and written Kazakh/Russian and have intermediate EnglishHave experience of preparing and delivering information for tax audit purposes
