We are seeking a skilled Tax Manager with 3+ years of public accounting experience to lead and manage tax planning, compliance, and reporting efforts. The ideal candidate will either hold a CPA designation or be actively working toward completing it. This role not only requires technical expertise but also the ability to lead teams and build strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities: + Oversee and manage the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts. + Develop strategies for tax planning and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. + Lead tax research and provide insights on legislative updates and how they impact clients and business operations. + Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate tax projects. + Supervise, mentor, and train junior team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality work. + Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and identify opportunities to expand services. Requirements Qualifications: + Experience: 3+ years of experience in public accounting with a focus on taxation. + Certification: CPA certified or actively working toward completion required. + Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation is a plus). + Skills: Excellent knowledge of tax laws and compliance requirements, strong leadership and client management abilities, and proficiency in tax software and accounting tools.
