The Finance team at HPE provides world class decision support driving profitable growth and exceptional shareholder value through our commitment to operational excellence, people development, and innovation. We provide accurate and timely financial information meeting the company’s regulatory and fiduciary responsibilities with unwavering integrity.

In a typical day in this in-house Tax Manager position you:

Prepare and file highly complex tax returns for the organizationLead and manage tax auditsAre an advisor to the company's global functions on tax mattersAdvise businesses on how to reduce tax liabilities, set up compliance procedures, and communicates frequently with senior business leadersLead various tax planning activities and research including estimated tax forecasts and other projects that involve a high degree of complexityLead research and documents company-wide tax systemsRespond to notices from various tax authorities and interact directly with tax authorities on a regular basisInteract and deal directly with external tax advisors to the company

If you have these Skills, Expertise, Attitude and Education…

First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.Typically, 10+ years of related experienceAdvanced knowledge of income tax laws they relate to corporationsSuccessful Tax Advisor Certificate ("Steuerberaterprüfung")Superior communication, leadership, consulting, influence, and negotiation skillsExceptional financial and business acumenExcellent project management, problem solving, and analytical skills, and the ability to execute a project within the scope of overall strategiesDemonstrated ability in managing multiple projects and engagement teamsBusiness fluency in German and English language
