Tax Manager 📍 Hybrid | 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote 📁 Tax Accounting | Insurance & Reinsurance About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Tax Manager to lead consolidated tax reporting across our global insurance and reinsurance operations. In this role, you will take ownership of quarterly, annual, and periodic tax reporting under US GAAP and IFRS, while proactively assessing changes in tax laws and their impact on our financial results. This position is ideal for a technically strong tax professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑moving, multinational environment. Key Responsibilities + Prepare consolidated tax schedules, disclosures, and analysis in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS. + Evaluate uncertain tax positions and ensure accurate and compliant reporting. + Review tax provisions prepared internally and by external advisors. + Collaborate with local teams worldwide on tax filings and statutory reporting requirements. + Partner with head office and affiliates to streamline tax reporting and compliance processes. + Maintain tax documentation, internal controls, and support SOX 404 requirements. + Work closely with auditors to support reviews and ensure transparency. + Update tax accounting policies to reflect current regulatory and technical guidance. Required Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (CPA preferred). + 4–6 years of tax accounting experience; insurance or reinsurance industry experience strongly preferred. + Strong technical understanding of ASC 740, IFRS, and multi‑jurisdictional tax reporting. + Expertise in BEPS Pillar 2 and U.S. business tax law. + Experience supporting tax‑efficient structures in global insurance organizations. + Proven ability to prepare accurate tax provisions and maintain strong controls. + Excellent communication and leadership skills. + Advanced proficiency in Excel. Preferred Skills & Certifications + Additional certifications: CPA, CA, CMA, or related credentials. + Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines. Work Environment + Hybrid: Three days in‑office, two days remote. + Collaborative, global team atmosphere with opportunities for growth. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $112000.00 - $150000.00/yr. Medical, Dental and Vision.
