Tax Manager
Position Overview

We are seeking a Tax Manager – Partnerships to join our growing and dynamic tax team. This role will focus on managing complex partnership tax planning, compliance, and reporting.


Key ResponsibilitiesReview and manage after-tax benefit schedules for various partnership investments.Oversee preparation of hypothetical liquidation book value calculations.Manage tax compliance and planning for partnership investments, including return review and coordination with external preparers.Collaborate with internal departments to meet co-investor and regulatory deadlines.Prepare quarterly tax estimates for internal and external reporting.Handle complex calculations related to federal tax credits, capital accounts, tax basis, and carryforwards.Participate in due diligence for new investments, including tax modeling and agreement review.Maintain capital accounts and analyze year-end fundings and deficit restoration obligations.Track and reconcile book-to-tax differences.Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.2+ years of tax compliance and return preparation experience, preferably in a public accounting firm.Strong background in partnership taxation.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to manage large datasets.

Preferred:

CPA certification.Experience with tax in GAAP roles.Familiarity with structuring transactions and tax modeling.Skills & CompetenciesStrong project management and organizational skills.High attention to detail and accountability.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $145000.00/yr.
