Tax Manager, Federal Compliance and Provision

As part of our Finance Business Unit: Empowering strategic decisions through expertise; fueling sustainable growth by delivering insights, managing risk and driving value across global operations- we are seeking a Federal Compliance and Provision Tax Manager to join our team based on the East Coast, with a hybrid schedule and commutable access to our offices in Wilmington, Delaware and/or New York, New York.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

Prepare and review quarterly and annual federal income tax provision packages, including book-to-tax adjustments, tax account reconciliations, and deferred tax roll forwards for U.S. domestic subsidiaries.Analyze key data for domestic and international tax calculations under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), including Base Erosion and Anti-Abuse Tax (BEAT), Foreign-Derived Intangible Income (FDII), Global Intangible Low-Taxed Income (GILTI), and Section 163(j) interest limitations.Review consolidated and subsidiary income tax returns and related forms prepared by external advisors.Conduct return-to-provision analysis and validate tax basis balance sheets, communicating results to Tax Accounting and leadership.Collaborate with external audit firms on quarterly reviews, year-end audits, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance.Prepare quarterly and annual cash tax forecasts for Treasury and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).Support Tax Planning with due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures.Research and resolve tax notices, including Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Compliance Assurance Process (CAP) audit requests.Assist with cash tax minimization initiatives and special projects.

What Makes You the Right Fit

Bachelor’s degree required; Master of Science in Taxation or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.Minimum of 6 years of experience in income tax compliance and tax accounting, gained in a large public accounting firm or a publicly traded multinational corporation.Hands-on experience preparing domestic tax provisions under Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) 740.Experience in preparing consolidated corporate and partnership tax returns.Familiarity with international tax compliance, including Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, and Earnings & Profits (E&P) calculations.Ability to communicate complex tax issues to both tax and non-tax stakeholders, including Controllership, Treasury, FP&A, and Legal.Experience working in a global manufacturing environment with multiple enterprise resource planning (ERP) and financial consolidation systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analytics tools such as Alteryx or Power BI.Experience with OneSource Tax Provision software is a plus.
