Description We are looking for a highly skilled Tax Director or Manager to lead corporate tax operations in Greenville, South Carolina. This role involves overseeing tax compliance, providing strategic tax advice, and ensuring the accurate preparation of business tax returns. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in corporate taxation and bookkeeping, along with a strong commitment to excellence. Responsibilities: • Prepare comprehensive business tax returns with precision and adherence to regulations. • Provide expert guidance to business clients on tax-related strategies and compliance matters. • Supervise and manage bookkeeping services for business clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. • Collaborate with clients to address their corporate tax concerns and develop solutions. • Leverage ATX Tax Software and other compliance tools to streamline tax processes. • Stay updated on corporate income tax provisions and regulatory changes. • Ensure timely and accurate reporting for corporate tax compliance. • Support clients with annual income tax provisions and planning. • Maintain familiarity with trusts and estates to offer additional advisory services where applicable. Requirements • Master's degree in Accounting or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate bookkeeping, accounting, and taxation. • Proficiency in ATX Tax Software and other compliance tools. • Solid knowledge of corporate income tax and annual tax provisions. • Ability to provide strategic tax advice to business clients. • Strong organizational and supervisory skills. • Familiarity with trusts and estates is preferred but not mandatory. • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
