Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Tax Compliance Manager to join our organization in Hannover, Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our organization maintains full compliance with German tax regulations and international tax requirements. You will manage complex tax compliance processes, coordinate with internal departments and external tax authorities, and provide strategic guidance on tax-related matters. This position requires a professional who can organize multiple compliance initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive tax compliance strategies aligned with German tax law and international regulationsConducting and evaluating regular risk reports and reporting to managementCommunication and coordination with reporting unitsOrganization, creation and delivery of training sessionsIndependent identification of weaknesses in the Tax CMS / Tax Risk Management and development, implementation and follow-up of corrective measuresCoordination, monitoring and active consultation regarding tax clauses in separation agreements, including related documentsIndependent clarification and response to inquiries concerning tax clauses in these segregation agreements

QualificationsAcademic degree in law or business administration or comparable qualificationSuccessfully passed the German tax advisor examinationPractical experience in the industry in the area of tax compliance management systems (Tax CMS) and/or in managing separation agreements would be desirableAffinity for legal workFluent German and English, both written and spokenHigh level of commitment and assertivenessStrong analytical skillsExperience with or interest in process automation and the use of artificial intelligence
