Tax Analyst

**Department: Corporate Tax**
**Location: Oxford, CT (Mainly Remote)**
**Reporting to: Associate Tax Director**
**Position:** The Associate Tax Analyst/Tax Analyst will be a member of the Corporate Tax Team
**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**
+ Preparation/review of certain federal and state & local income tax returns and payments
+ Assist with preparation of quarterly tax provision calculations
+ Assist with preparation/review of Forms 5471 for controlled foreign corporations
+ Draft initial responses for tax notices and audits
+ Help maintain internal controls and supporting documentation for the Company’s Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
+ Conduct tax research utilizing RIA, Checkpoint or other tax research tool Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
**KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE**
+ Strong computer skills, including but not limited to, Excel, Word, Power Point, SAP, tax preparation software, tax research software, etc.
+ One to two years tax or accounting experience (Internships would qualify for new graduates)
+ Requires understanding of accounting and tax concepts
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
+ Knowledge of Oracle Cloud FCCS is a plus
+ Knowledge of OneSource a plus
+ Knowledge of Alteryx a plus Further Education a Plus
**ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS**
+ Strong analytical thinker, high level of self-motivation and a team player
+ Strong documentation and organizational skills
+ Good communication skills, both verbal and written
+ Ability to work independently

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $40,900.00 - $102,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
