Tax Analyst
Our client is a large, logistics organization with operations spanning the globe. The business operates in complex, cross-border environments and manages sophisticated international structures to support its global operations. The organization is known for its long-term approach, strong governance standards, and collaborative culture across legal, finance, and commercial teams.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Tax Analyst will support Canadian, U.S., and international tax matters across the organization’s global operations. Reporting to the Director of Tax, this role is well suited for a technically strong tax professional who is eager to deepen their exposure to U.S. and international tax rules while working closely with Legal, Finance, Treasury, and Business Development teams.

The role combines tax planning, compliance support, risk management, and advisory work tied to complex international projects and transactions.

RESPONSIBILITIESReview commercial proposals and identify international tax considerations early in the deal processPrepare and review tax projections to ensure tax impacts are accurately reflected in financial modelsSupport the design of efficient cross-border tax structures, including financing and cash repatriationPartner with Legal, Commercial, Accounting, and Treasury teams on complex transactions and projectsResearch, analyze, and document international and cross-border tax issues and planning strategiesDevelop and maintain clear tax planning documentation, including pre- and post-transaction analysisSupport global tax risk management, governance tracking, and related documentationAssist with Canadian, U.S., and international tax compliance across multiple jurisdictionsCoordinate with external advisors and support tax authority inquiries and audit requestsPrepare tax accruals, provisions, and Canadian corporate tax filingsREQUIREMENTSCPA, CA, or equivalent international accounting or tax designation.Minimum 3+ years of corporate tax experience; exposure to international and/or U.S. tax is strongly preferred.Strong ability to research, analyze, and clearly communicate complex tax matters.Experience managing multiple workstreams and tight deadlines.In-depth tax coursework (or equivalent international tax education) in progress or completed.Proficiency with tax and financial tools (e.g., Taxprep, Excel).COMPENSATION$80,000-$95,000 + bonusComprehensive and impressive benefits package (better than market average)3-4 weeks vacationLong-term growth opportunities within a global, stable organization.
