Job Title: Payroll Tax Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Tax Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing and reconciling complex payroll tax returns and working closely with our tax team to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Responsibilities
Reconcile and manage complex payroll tax returns, including Federal, State, SUI, Local, and FUTA.Pay and file payroll taxes accurately, leveraging at least 5 years of experience in this area.Research payroll and tax system issues, providing recommendations for resolution.Train and mentor co-workers, sharing knowledge and expertise.Participate in the W-2 process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Recommend and lead the implementation of approved process improvements and procedural changes.Research and review payroll tax regulation changes to assess their impact.Essential Skills
Proficiency in Accounting and Tax principles.Experience with ADP Master Tax and Peoplesoft Payroll Tax.Advanced Excel skills, including V-Look Ups and Pivot Tables.Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal communication and mentoring skills.Effective time management and adaptability.Proven ability to conduct thorough tax research.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41.00 - $41.00/hr.
