Tax Analyst

Key member of the team responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, tax optimization and preparation of timely and accurate tax reports. Also be a technical reference for tax matters, collaborating across departments and contributing to the organization’s fiscal health and compliance.

What You Will Do

Preparation and review of national, provincial, and municipal tax declarations, focusing on indirect taxes such as VAT, Turnover Tax, municipal rates, and other local taxes, including obligations as collection agents.Valued knowledge in direct taxes like Income Tax and Wealth Tax to assist in reviews and tax planning.Perform tax accounts reconciliation.Analyze current tax regulations and propose tax planning strategies. Be up to date with tax changes.Address operational tax inquiries from internal and external clients.Support tax audits.Keep updated tax documentation and records.Ensure compliance with deadlines and tax obligations.Identify tax savings opportunities and process improvements.Collaborate with other departments such as accounting, legal, and finance, to ensure consistency in tax information.Assist junior team members in their tasks.

Minimum Qualification

Academic background: University degree in Public Accounting is preferred but not mandatory; advanced students in the field are also considered.Minimum experience in tax-related roles, preferably in accounting firms (Big 4 or similar) or multinational companies.Knowledge of Argentine tax legislation, especially concerning provincial and municipal indirect taxes.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.Advanced English language skills, both oral and written, mandatory for interaction with international teams.Experience with accounting and tax software is required; SAP and JDE experience is an advantage.
