About the role:

 

This role supports corporate tax operations by preparing tax provisions and reconciliations in line with ASC 740, and assisting with U.S. international tax filings. Responsibilities also include journal entries, coordinating with finance teams and helping automate tax processes.

In this role you will:

Responsible for the administration of certain tax software and tax provision calendarAssist in the preparation of tax provision and data for tax footnotes in accordance with ASC740Prepare tax account reconciliationsPrepare interim tax provision and effective tax rate workbooksPrepare monthly and quarterly journal entriesAssist in gathering and organizing documentation requested by external/internal parties. Coordinate with FP&A teams to gather quarterly data required by tax.Assist in preparation of tax returns for US International filings (Forms 5471 and others as required) for GMF international entities Prepare US international inclusion workbooksCoordinate agendas for quarterly/monthly callsAssist in the automation of processes where possible

Experience

0-2 years progressive tax experience preferredBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance requiredMaster’s Degree in Tax PreferredCPA or CPA candidate upon hire preferred
