Tax Analyst

The Tax Analyst is responsible for analyzing, reviewing, reporting and communicating tax information. Completes reviews, reconciliations, and resolutions in compliance with regulations and requirements for the relevant jurisdiction. Ensures work is error free and responds to internal and external finance and audit teams. Works within deadlines and deliverables.
The Tax Analyst is an individual who likes challenging and varied work, wants to build their U.S. tax experience, interested in working side by side with some of the finest tax, financial and legal brains in the business, and want to elevate their career beyond the ordinary.
In this role you'll:
Assist with the U.S. tax compliance activities including preparing the federal and state corporate and information returns, gathering information for the corporate tax return process and preparing reconciliations to accounting records.Assist with projects as they arise including U.S. M & A activity.Assist with the quarterly tax provision process.Assist with the quarterly estimated income tax payments.Assist with tax audits (internal and external).Assist with tax notices (IRS and state).Perform research and prepare memos relating to changes in tax laws and tax accounting guidance.Assist with process improvements, automation, and documentation efficiency.Here's what you bring:
Completion or working towards completion of an accounting designation (CPA) preferred.Completion of bachelors degree in Accounting.Minimum of 1-2 years of corporate tax experience (public practice preferred).Intermediate to advance excel skills.Technology & Automation Skills; such as, Power BI, Alteryx, AI Tools, would be a bonus.One Source Tax Provision experience would be a bonus.This job will require you to:
Working knowledge of U.S. Income Tax and willingness to learn.Research U.S. tax issues and document analysis and conclusions.Understands and complies with established departmental processes and procedures designed to support internal controls under Sarbanes Oxley.Tax returns compliance needs to be prepared and filed on time.Need to be able to work side by side with corporate accounting to obtain information, understand transactions and propose tax adjustments.
