Tax Accountant
Position: Tax AccountantOverview

The Tax Accountant will play a key role in overseeing corporate tax compliance, reporting, and analysis across multiple jurisdictions. This individual will partner closely with finance leadership to ensure accurate tax treatment of business activities while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce risk.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage the preparation and submission of U.S. federal corporate and partnership tax filings, as well as multi‑state income and franchise returns, resolving any technical or electronic filing challenges as they arisePartner with accounting and finance teams to assess tax implications of operational activity, including allocation and apportionment considerations across multiple entities or locationsSupport federal and state tax examinations by assembling documentation, clarifying transactional details, and responding to audit inquiries or noticesPrepare annual income tax provisions, reconciliations, and related disclosures in accordance with applicable accounting standards, including maintaining detailed supporting schedulesResearch evolving tax legislation and regulatory developments, translating findings into practical guidance and identifying potential planning or optimization opportunitiesPerform specialized tax calculations related to international and interest limitation regulations, including global minimum tax and deduction limitation provisionsRequired QualificationsFive or more years of progressive experience in corporate tax or public accounting (candidates with 3+ years of highly relevant experience will be considered)Strong command of Microsoft Excel and Word, including advanced spreadsheet functionality such as lookups and pivot reportingDemonstrated ability to clearly communicate complex tax concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and external advisorsProven aptitude for researching, analyzing, and applying tax law to real‑world business scenariosPreferred ExperienceExposure to manufacturing or multi‑facility environments is helpful, but not mandatoryPrior experience working with enterprise accounting or fixed‑asset systems is a plusWork Structure

This role operates on a hybrid schedule. The initial onboarding period is conducted fully onsite, after which the position transitions to a recurring in‑office schedule mid‑week. Standard business hours apply, with flexibility available for adjusted start times.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $107000.00/yr.
