Main responsibilities:

Reporting to the Tax Manager, the Tax Accountant provides support for various income tax compliance and accounting for income tax projects. The Tax Accountant works with a variety of individuals internally in different departments. 

Analyze large volumes of data and report findings.  Prepare various quarterly and annual tax provision schedules.  Assist in preparation of federal and state income tax returns.  Research federal and state tax issues.  Assist in federal and state tax planning and other special projects as they arise.  Assist in preparation of quarterly estimated tax payment calculations. 

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

Interest in income tax laws and administration.  Interest in expanding and developing additional technology skills.   A willingness to apply new technologies to solve complex tax problems.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and interpersonal communication skills. 

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience 

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or computer science (or equivalent) required.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Primarily Excel & Outlook).  Interest in learning about tax and tech simultaneously.  Strong communication skills.  0-4 years of tax experience with a large corporate tax department or public accounting a plus but not required. 

This position will be based in Boise, ID.
