About the job
As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role as a Tax Accountant, joining our high-performing team and take ownership of a wide range of corporate, international, and compliance tax responsibilities. As a part of the team, you will:
Corporate Income Tax Compliance
Prepare federal, state, and local tax filings for a consolidated group of 10+ companies. Manage unitary and separate company returns across 38 states. Handle quarterly estimates and annual extensions. Respond to regulatory correspondence, audits, and inquiries. Collaborate with U.S. Group companies to collect and review tax data.International Tax Compliance
Prepare transfer pricing documentation and annual CFC reports. Conduct research and analysis on international tax issues and regulations.Other Compliance Responsibilities
File annual reports with Secretaries of State, BPOL, BEA, and escheatment authorities. Manage business registrations, qualifications, and withdrawals across jurisdictions. Monitor nexus issues and ensure compliance across all U.S. Group companies.Internal Financial Reporting (IFRS/GAAP)
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax provisions (FAS109/IAS12). Reconcile tax accounts and maintain effective tax rates. Support internal and external audits. Oversee corporate income and franchise tax functions, including international compliance and transfer pricing.Leadership & Development
Mentor and develop junior staff, sharing your knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.We care about diversity, inclusion and equity in our recruitment processes. What you know:
You have bachelor’s degree in Accountant, Finance, Economics, with relevant experience, and:
Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax laws, international tax principles, and IFRS/GAAP. Experience with consolidated returns, transfer pricing, and tax provision calculations. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. A proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Minimum 2 years of relevant Tax experience. A visible, result driven leader delivering results through the team.Preferred:
CPA (Certified Public Accountant). Larger business and clients experience. Vertex tax software, ERP system. Microsoft 365, D365.
