Tax Accountant
Description We are looking for a dedicated Tax Accountant to join our team in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will contribute to the preparation and review of tax returns while supporting various client engagements and projects. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team and ensure compliance with tax regulations for both individuals and businesses. Responsibilities: • Review and prepare individual and business tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail. • Collaborate with team members to plan, execute, and complete tax and accounting projects. • Provide technical guidance and communicate effectively with staff regarding tax-related matters. • Assist clients with tax planning and compliance to optimize their financial outcomes. • Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and tax preparation tasks. • Conduct audits and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and corporate tax compliance. • Identify operational and control opportunities to improve processes and client satisfaction. • Deliver timely and high-quality work to meet established deadlines. • Participate in ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed to support client needs. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum of 1 year of experience in tax preparation, with a preference for individual tax preparation. • Proficiency in QuickBooks is highly desirable. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ad hoc reporting. • Knowledge of corporate and individual tax regulations and compliance. • Ability to conduct audits and ensure compliance with financial standards. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with clients and team members.
