YOUR IMPACT 

An opportunity has arisen in the Global Tax Team for a tax professional to advise the Asset Management Division of Goldman Sachs Asset Management with a focus on their Retail Fund Platform. Goldman Sachs Asset Management is one of the world’s leading investment managers and provides institutional and individual investors with investment and advisory solutions, with strategies spanning asset classes, industries, and geographies. Our investment solutions include fixed income, money markets, public equity, commodities, hedge funds, private equity, and real estate. Goldman Sachs has over $3.2 trillion in assets under supervision globally as of December 31, 2024. 

This position will involve significant interaction with people in the business and Global Tax and will require strong communication skills. If you are a self-starter who is excited by the prospect of working in a fast-paced environment, this role will appeal to you. 

Primary Responsibilities Advising businesses in Goldman Sachs Asset Management on the tax considerations for funds on their retail and alternative fund platformsWorking with, and challenging the input from, external advisors Liaising with other tax colleagues within the firm, particularly in the US

Required Qualifications, Experience And Skills

Professionally qualified – ACA/CTA or ACCA Minimum 2 years post-qualification tax experience at a leading firm Experience with Operational Taxes and Investor Tax Reporting for UCITS and AIFs Experience with fund structuring, including knowledge of tax regimes in the key European jurisdictions (Netherlands is preferable, but not essential)Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence senior business stakeholders and make decisionsFlexible and able to learn quickly Highly motivated team player able to work in a fast-paced environment ABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS
