Task Order Deputy Program Manager (Network Engineering)

In this role as the Deputy Program Manager, the employee will directly support the Task Order PM to lead and manage a netowrk engineering workforce on a technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This is a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience to recruit and develop top talent and solutions on one of the most complex and high-profile programs within the government. ABC \#LI-JB3 **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** The right candidate will have a minimum of sixteen 16 years' experience. A Bachelor's or Master s Degree are preferred in one or more of the disciplines described below where specific tasks and skills may include the following: + Experience providing program management for large scale systems or netowrk engineering services programs in support of a US Intelligence Agency. + Over 10 years of experience working on government enterprise network and engineering programs, including on-site customer engagement. + Strong business acumen highly capable of planning, monitoring, and communicating status of program financials. + Strong relationship management skills across a diverse group of stakeholders. + Successful planning and execution of strategic initiatives (business and technical) to meet customer requirements and improve program service delivery. + Ability to work closely with the BAE Systems Talent Acquisition and PMO staffing team to identify new candidates and adjudicate the interviews, vetting, and hiring of the new required resources. + Proven experience managing a program workforce including management of senior managers. + Identify and document program status including implementation, schedule, issues, risks, quality, and successes measures to meet contractual requirements. + Experience serving as programmatic liaison to the customer; maintaining enterprise sponsor contacts to ensure conformity to all contractual obligations. + Ability to provide status reporting to the enterprise sponsor, and the internal program team on progress toward objectives. + Proven success with resource and position management on programs with 50 FTE/ billets + Excellent problem solving and leadership skills + Excellent written and verbal communications skills **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Experience serving as a PM for large programs ($50M ) + Technically proficient conversant in modern Network Engineering best practices such as Zero Trust Architecture, Software-defined Networking, Cloud-Native Networking, Automation and Orchestration, Observability and Monitoring, Cybersecurity and Compliance + Experience managing programs within a product line-based organizational structure + Execution of highly sensitive/classified programs + Current Project Management Professional certification (PMP) **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $150370 - $255630 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
