Job Description

We are looking for a Team Leader to provide disciplinary leadership for our Tariff/Customs Classification team. In this role, you will be accountable for people leadership, performance management, stakeholder/client relationship management and for project delivery.
Your focus will be on empowering employees, fostering team culture, and ensuring smooth collaboration with both internal stakeholders and external clients.

Your Role:
As a Tariff Classification Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring BOSCH Group’s compliance with international trade regulations. Your expertise and leadership will help the team navigate classification of goods for tariff/customs purposes.


Your Impact:

Manage and develop a team performing tariff classification of Bosch product portfolio, from raw materials to components to finished goods, production parts as well as spare parts according to the national tariff schemes.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and manage international stakeholders and clients.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and HR guidelines. Acting as a communication bridge between employees and senior leadership.Work with a global team and Foreign Trade functions in entities in multiple countries therefore fluent communication in English is expected.Stay ahead of the game by keeping up with evolving foreign trade regulations, particularly on tariff classification in many jurisdictions.

QualificationsMin. 5 years of experience in trade compliance or product engineering.Strong understanding and proven experience in tariff classification.Proven experience (3+ years) in a team leader, people manager, or HR-related role.Great interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust.Experience in managing diverse teams.Solid understanding of HR processes (performance management, conflict resolution,coaching, development).Empathy, resilience, and the ability to balance employee needs with organizational priorities.Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.Advanced English proficiency (German is a plus!).Experience with ERP systems (SAP, GTS or MIC) is a bonus.
