Shift: 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Pay Rate: $15.00/hour

Miller Brothers Staffing is hiring immediately for a Tapping Operator on 3rd shift! This is a temp-to-hire opportunity at a growing manufacturing facility in Saegertown, PA. Position Overview:
The Tapping Operator is responsible for running tapping equipment to produce threaded components in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This includes operating machines, performing inspections, and ensuring products meet all specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate assigned tapping equipment efficiently and safely on 3rd shift

Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, or gauges

Ensure all finished items meet required quality standards

Perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments as needed

Read blueprints and follow work instructions

Complete accurate documentation for inspections and production logs

Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality procedures

Support production goals and maintain a clean work area

Perform additional duties as assigned

Skills & Competencies:

Machine operation experience (tapping or general production machinery)

Ability to use precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)

Understanding of quality documentation and work instructions

Basic math and mechanical troubleshooting skills

Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED preferred

1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred

Must be able to start immediately on 3rd shift

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Extended periods of standing and repetitive motion

Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
