Must be mechanically-inclined and enjoy working outdoors in physically demanding conditions. What will you be doing? + Disassemble and repair valves, pressure relief devices and diaphragm pumps using various hand tools + Perform confined space entry and work at heights when required + Safely utilize respirators and other safety equipment + Properly handle, mix, and dispose of cleaning chemicals and materials + Operate power washers, lifts, fall protection and other industrial equipment + Follow all safety protocols including donning/doffing PPE, lockout/tagout, bonding and grounding + Travel for work at customer sites with a home base of Kansas City, MO (up to 50%) or Ackley, IA (80-100%). What makes you the right fit? + You have a high school diploma or equivalent experience (trade school is even better!) + You can lift up to 50 lbs and perform strenuous physical labor on a daily basis. + You have great reading, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills + You are able to travel and work a flexible schedule + You must be able to use hand tools like a sawzall, drill, or dremel tool. If you have experience in tank cleaning, pressure washing, or maintenance, that's a plus! + A Class A or B driver's license and/or forklift certification is preferred but not required! + Confined space rescue training/certification is a big help but we provide it if you don't already have it! PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
