The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for a Tanium Administrator to support our DoD customer to implement an enterprise IT service delivery model that provides consistent, secure, high-quality, and cost-effective services to enable mission success and improve end user experience across the customer environment.  On this program, CACI will deliver enhanced capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk, endpoint management and security solution, as well as CONUS/OCONUS field support and life cycle support for end user devices to enable the DoD customer to transition focus from IT operations to mission operations.



Responsibilities:

The candidate will be a Tanium Administrator who will configure, manage, and troubleshoot Tanium issues ensure the proper security controls are in place. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate with documented experience implementing compliance controls and hardening best practices within DoD.   You regularly collaborate with other teams and stakeholders in this role to correctly identify issues, document processes, and test resolutions.

Deep understanding of Tanium platform and its modules (e.g., Discover, Patch, Comply, Threat Response)Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting)Install, configure, and maintain Tanium Core Platform and its componentsManage and optimize Tanium server infrastructureDeploy and manage Tanium clients across the organization's networkCreate and maintain content, including sensors, packages, and saved questionsDevelop and implement Tanium-based solutions for endpoint management, security, and operationsConfigure and manage Tanium modules (e.g., Patch, Comply, Threat Response)Integrate Tanium with other security and IT management toolsMonitor and troubleshoot Tanium performance and functionalityImplement and maintain role-based access controls within TaniumDevelop and maintain documentation for Tanium processes and proceduresCreate reports and dashboards for various stakeholders using Tanium dataAutomate repetitive tasks using Tanium's API and integration capabilitiesStay current with Tanium updates, new features, and best practicesProvide training and support to end-users and other IT teams on Tanium usageParticipate in incident response and threat hunting activities using TaniumCollaborate with security, operations, and compliance teams to meet organizational goalsOptimize Tanium for large-scale deployments and ensure scalabilityConduct regular health checks and maintenance of the Tanium environment

Qualifications:

Required: 

10+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).Must have DoD Secret clearance and experience working in a classified environment.DoD 8140 compliance; Security + certification at a minimum.Deep understanding of Tanium platform and its modules (e.g., Discover, Patch, Comply, Threat Response)Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting)Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)Understanding of network protocols and security conceptsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work in a team and lead projectsCapacity to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholderExperience working in a secure location managing devices on a SIPR network.Experience with RMF and STIG requirements.Experience with ITILv4.Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies.The candidate must have proficient skills in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and SharePoint.Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have: 

Experience with ServiceNow. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).Relevant certification might include:Tanium Certified Operator/AdministratorCertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)Certified Ethical Hacker CEHSimilar security certifications (ex: Security+).Experience working independently to expose and resolve problems.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$86,600 - $181,800
