Talent Technology Specialist
**Talent Technology Specialist** **Position Summary:** We are seeking a detail-orientated and proactive Workday Administrator to support and optimize our Workday Talent Management and Learning modules. This position focuses on resolving complex issues, performing advanced configurations, analyzing data, and driving enhancements to ensure system stability and optimization. **Key Responsibilities:** **System Configuration and Optimization:** + Configure and maintain the Workday Talent processes including performance management, succession planning, career development, and talent reviews + Administer and maintain the Workday Learning processes including course setup, learning campaigns, and content management + Test, validate, and implement system updates, enhancements, and fixes. + Support functional leads with process design improvements to enhance user experience and operational efficiency. + Conduct regular system audits and ensure alignment with organizational policies. **Advanced Issue Resolution and Support:** + Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the Workday Talent Management and Learning modules. + Resolve Tier 3 escalated issues by performing root cause analysis, advanced troubleshooting, and system corrections. + Partner with Tier 2 teams to ensure seamless escalation, resolution, and knowledge transfer for recurring issues. + Collaborate with Workday Support and technical teams for complex issues requiring vendor resolution. **Collaboration and Process Improvement:** + Partner with Learning & Development teams to support learning initiatives and talent processes. + Partner with cross-functional teams, including HR and IT, to drive process improvements and system alignment. + Partner with the knowledge base team to update any process documentation, knowledge base articles, and job aids for the designated Workday module. + Proactively identify opportunities for optimization, ensuring system stability and increased adoption. **User Guidance and Training Support:** + Provide guidance to Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams on advanced troubleshooting and processes. + Assist in developing training content and facilitating training sessions for key users and stakeholders. **Qualifications:** + **Workday Expertise:** 2+ years of experience supporting and configuring Workday or a similar HRIS system + **Technical Skills:** + Strong understanding of HR systems including business processes, and integrations. + Proficiency with case management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, or similar). + **Problem-Solving Skills:** Strong ability to resolve complex system issues and design long-term solutions. + **Communication Skills:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. + **Attention to Detail:** Exceptional focus on accuracy and system integrity. + **Collaboration:** Proven experience working cross-functionally with HR, IT, and COE teams. **Preferred Skills:** + Workday Pro Certification(s) in the relevant functional area. + Prior experience supporting Workday during hyper-care, stabilization, or COE phases. + Experience working in a Center of Excellence or Shared Services model. + Strong knowledge of data management, reporting tools, and integration testing.
