The talent sourcer focused on identifying, engaging, and attracting top talent across a wide spectrum of roles from skilled trades / production technicians to engineers, program managers, and administrative professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience sourcing both blue-collar and white-collar talent in the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand hiring needs across technical, manufacturing, and professional roles.Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates using a variety of methods (e.g., Boolean searches, social media, resume databases, networking, trade schools, military pipelines).Build and maintain a robust pipeline of active and passive candidates for current and future hiring needs.Engage with candidates via phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person events to assess fit, interest, and availability.Conduct initial screenings and coordinate handoff to recruiters or hiring teams.Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS).Track sourcing metrics and continuously improve sourcing effectiveness, outreach, and time-to-fill rates.Report weekly recruiting KPIs to track performance and drive results.The responsibilities outlined above are not exhaustive and may include additional tasks or duties as required to support the goals of the Talent Acquisition teamRequirements:
2-5 years of talent sourcing or recruiting experience in aerospace, manufacturing, defense, engineering, or a related technical field.Strong knowledge of sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, resume databases) and Boolean search techniques.Demonstrated ability to source for both blue-collar and white-collar roles.Experience with any ATSExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.High attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneouslyQualificationsBachelor/ Master Degree in Human Resources
