Job Title: Capital Markets & Fund Accounting Trainer / L&D Specialist (Asst Manager / Manager) 

Location: Bangalore/Mumbai 

Schedule: 12:00 am - 9:00 pm

Mode: Hybrid (3 days work-from-office)

Experience Required: 10+ years. Reports To: Functional Training Lead (Expert Talent Partner)

 

Role Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Capital Markets & Fund Accounting Trainer and L&D Specialist with over 10 years of experience in financial services operations and learning & development. 

This role combines deep domain expertise in fund accounting, capital markets, and investment structures with strong capability in training design, facilitation, and talent development.

Exposure to Private Equity and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) is highly desirable. The specialist will play a critical role in shaping capability development across global teams by designing, delivering, and continuously evolving impactful learning programs.

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Training Design & Delivery

Develop and facilitate engaging training programs across capital markets, fund accounting, and investment operations.Deliver training in multiple formats — classroom, virtual, blended, and experiential.
Simplify complex financial concepts into clear, practical learning content. 

2. Learning Program Development

Partner with business leaders and SMEs to identify capability gaps and future skill needs.Create structured role-based learning pathways (from analyst to manager).Incorporate case studies, simulations, and digital learning tools to enhance effectiveness.

3. Domain Expertise Application

Leverage expertise in fund structures, NAV, reconciliations, valuations, and regulatory compliance to ensure accurate, business-relevant training.Support specialized upskilling initiatives in Private Equity, REITs, and alternative investments.

4. Assessment & Measurement

Design assessment tools to validate learning outcomes.Track training effectiveness and link outcomes to business impact Continuously refresh content to align with evolving industry trends and regulatory changes.

5. Talent & Capability Building

Contribute to the broader capability development strategy across business units.Mentor junior trainers or business SMEs transitioning into facilitation roles.Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing. 

Qualifications & Experience:

10+ years in Capital Markets / Fund Accounting / Financial Services Operations, with significant L&D exposure.Strong track record in training design, facilitation, and capability building.Knowledge of Private Equity and REIT structures preferred.Familiarity with regulatory environments and operational risk management in funds.Skilled in using LMS platforms, e-learning tools, and digital collaboration technologies.Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
