Job Description BASIC FUNCTIONS

To identify talent and coordinate the training, communication, and development processes for employees, contributing to the effective achievement of the organization’s objectives, in accordance with Rosewood’s philosophy, policies, procedures, and quality standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTrainingConducts the general Training Needs Assessment of the hotel:General SurveyPosition–person focused assessment with the support of the departmental manager and the Standards Specialist (specific).Prepares the Training Plan and schedules Corporate and Internal Courses, including dates, materials, equipment, departmental coordination, control formats, evaluation methods, and follow‑up.Corporate courses (departmental budget)Departmental training plan (departmental budget)Acts as the training mentor.Coordinates, controls, and follows up on the “Windows to Excellence” Program with department heads and internal instructors to train and onboard new employees according to company standards, including delivery of their Integration Training Plan.Monitors the corporate training program and position-specific training calendar with all required courses.Follows up on achievements and results of the English Program for employees.Presents the Training Plan, Skills Certificate Lists, integration of the Joint Training and Instruction Committee, and prepares the Skills Certificates in coordination with the Training Coordinator to ensure full compliance with the regulations of the Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social.Ensures follow-up on Joint Training, Instruction, and Productivity Committee meetings.Manages and controls the Employee Relations and Training budget, verifies expenses monthly with the Training Coordinator.Maintains control of recognition program compliance.Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.Ensures follow-up and compliance with OMR audit requirements for the area.Communication and IntegrationManages communication boards, screens, and poster displays to promote effective visual communication in the heart of the house.Oversees compliance with at least two round‑table meetings per month to encourage employee contributions and individual initiatives for the improvement of the hotel.Assists the Director of Human Resources in all necessary tasks.DevelopmentManages Internal Internship Programs to contribute to employee training and development.Oversees external and internal internship programs.Follows up on the Management Trainee Program.Manages the Personal Development Plan of each employee.Oversees the Standards Specialist Program: meeting schedules, profile selection, session content, and scheduling of external courses.Verifies compliance of the High Flyers Program
