				The  **Talent Consultant**  is responsible for recruiting and attracting talent consistent with workforce plans, functional plans, and company objectives — with a primary focus on staffing Clean Harbors’ hazardous waste incinerator and refinery operations. This role requires a recruiter who understands the unique demands of industrial, environmental, or energy-sector workforces and can effectively identify, attract, and engage skilled trades, plant operators, and technical professionals. The Talent Consultant will continuously bring new ways of thinking to improve the quality, accuracy, and time to fill rates while consistently delivering top diverse talent to the Company.

+ Initiate, develop and execute comprehensive, compelling sourcing strategies that will attract top talent;
  
+ Creatively source qualified candidates through a wide variety of channels (direct sourcing, career fair, etc.), understand diversity goals and provide candidate slates in support of these goals and act as a subject matter expert for their assigned portfolio;
  
+ Builds relationships and credibility with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to understand position requirements and talent profile, and to facilitate the successful placement of talent;
  
+ Responsible for providing reports on activity levels, hires against target, competitor information and market information;
  
+ Management of all requisitions to ensure their status is correct and the proper action has being taken to fulfill the requisition based on the needs definition;
  
+ Responsible for identifying and properly coding applicants in the applicant tracking system, as well as ensuring their correct disposition as the competition progresses;
  
+ Establish communications and a feedback system with each hiring manager to: calibrate on presented candidates, provide regular progress updates on their open requisitions; and ensure that hiring decisions are made in a timely manner and solicit feedback to refine recruiting strategy;
  
+ Consult with regional senior management and their representatives to clearly identify immediate and near term hiring needs;
  
+ Interview applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills;
  
+ Advise hiring managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, assist and train the hiring manager in on-boarding applicants to include the paperwork required;
  
+ Partners with team members to facilitate sharing of national and regional knowledge and awareness of positions;
  
+ Talent Consultants are responsible for following processes and utilizing tools and services developed by the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence.
  
+ Develop and maintain a deep understanding of incineration facilities, refinery environments, and other industrial operations to effectively match talent with operational needs.
  
+ Partner closely with operations and safety leadership to forecast and meet staffing demands for skilled trades, process operators, mechanics, chemists, and environmental technicians.
  
+ Build targeted sourcing pipelines for industrial and environmental talent, leveraging job boards, trade schools, associations, and industry events.
  
+ Stay current on market trends in industrial and environmental recruiting, providing insights to influence regional workforce strategies.
  
  
+ 5+ years of experience in the recruiting field.
  
+ Experience recruiting for  **industrial, refinery, or environmental operations**  strongly preferred.
  
+ Working knowledge of  **skilled trades, process operations, or environmental compliance roles**  is highly beneficial.
  
+ Demonstrated excellent skills with follow-through and a strong attention to detail orientation.
  
+ Expert problem solver - sorts through complex issues and conducts comparative analysis of multiple solutions.
  
+ Possess a high level of integrity, demonstrating the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills - including active listening skills.
  
+ Responds to requests with a sense of urgency.
  
+ Ability to manage requests from multiple sources.
  
+ Must be adaptable to unexpected changes.
  
+ Ability to make decisions.
  
+ Able to collaboratively achieve team goals.
