Description We are looking for a motivated Talent and Human Resources Specialist to join our team in Fremont, Michigan. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to recruitment efforts, onboarding processes, and HR administrative tasks. Ideal for candidates eager to expand their expertise in human resources, this role is instrumental in supporting organizational growth.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews, managing pre-employment logistics, and supporting a large-scale hiring initiative.
• Collaborate with the HR leader to develop and execute effective recruitment strategies for a unionized workforce.
• Prepare and organize onboarding materials, ensuring all compliance and documentation requirements are met for new hires.
• Facilitate orientation sessions and provide administrative support during initial training.
• Maintain accurate HR records and perform data entry using systems such as ADP Workforce Now and SuccessFactors.
• Assist with benefits-related tasks, employee relations, and compliance processes.
• Handle documentation and records management with a focus on confidentiality and accuracy.
• Support the HR leader with ad hoc projects to streamline department operations.
• Contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Provide proactive support in fostering a positive workplace culture and communication. Requirements • Previous experience in human resources, particularly in recruitment coordination, onboarding, or administrative tasks.
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Dayforce, or similar HR systems is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
• Knowledge of compliance and employee relations processes, including FMLA.
• Experience working in environments with unionized workforces is a plus. TalentMatch®
