The Talent Acquisition Support Specialist plays a vital role in supporting multiple Talent Acquisition Specialists at Commerce Bank. This position is key to ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment process. By partnering closely with Talent Acquisition Specialists, the Support Specialist helps deliver exceptional service and support, contributing to a best-in-class candidate and customer experience. This role offers an excellent entry point for individuals interested in pursuing a career in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources.
Schedule
This is a hybrid/flexible role: Scheduled to be in-person in the Commerce Bank Career Lounge in Kansas City, MO on a rotational basis, two (2) to three (3) days per week, with the ability to work from home on opposite days.

Job Description
Essential Functions
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Specialists to provide both internal and external customer support throughout the recruiting process
Serve as a welcoming and professional first point of contact at the Commerce Bank Careers Lounge, ensuring a positive and service-oriented experience for all visitors and candidates
Coordinate all aspects of interview logistics, including scheduling, travel, and documentation, while maintaining a high level of service and responsiveness to candidates and internal stakeholders
Support recruitment strategies that align with Blue Chip priorities to help to attract and retain top talent across the organization
Manage, create, and post job openings across multiple lines of business, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs
Oversee pre-employment processes, such as background checks and assessments, ensuring timely follow-up and clear communication with candidates and Talent Acquisition team
Partner with Talent Acquisition Specialists to facilitate hire, pre-boarding, and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and consistent experience for new team members
Maintain proactive and transparent communication with Talent Acquisition team members and hiring managers to ensure alignment and timely updates, consistently meeting service level expectations
Safeguard confidential candidate and HR information, demonstrating the highest level of integrity and professionalism
Embrace a One Team mindset, actively supporting colleagues and contributing to shared goals across the Talent Acquisition function
Ensure adherence to all HR policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to maintain compliance and mitigate risk
Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required
1+ year(s) relevant experience required
Previous experience in human resources and/or recruiting support preferred
