Position Summary
The organization is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Talent Acquisition Specialist to support hiring operations at a corporate headquarters location and across field-based teams. This role is responsible for coordinating recruiting activities, maintaining accurate candidate data, supporting onboarding processes, and ensuring a seamless and professional candidate experience.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and demonstrates strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting hiring managers and HR leadership.
Role and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate full-cycle recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate scheduling, and interview logisticsServe as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive candidate experienceConduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications and alignment with position requirementsManage applicant tracking systems (ATS) and maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate recordsManage multiple data points across recruiting systems, ensuring accuracy and consistencyPerform high-volume, accurate data entry related to candidate tracking, onboarding, and reportingCoordinate candidate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screenings, and required documentationSupport onboarding processes, ensuring completion of all required new hire documentation, including employment eligibility verificationTrack recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline activity, and hiring progressMaintain candidate pipelines for high-volume and recurring rolesPartner with hiring managers and HR to support workforce planning and hiring timelinesCoordinate with third-party staffing agencies and maintain effective working relationshipsAssist with job postings, recruiting campaigns, job fairs, and hiring eventsCommunicate with candidates regarding application status, onboarding steps, and required documentationEnsure compliance with federal, applicable state, and company hiring policies and proceduresGenerate recruiting reports and provide data to support HR and operational decision-makingProvide administrative support to HR and recruiting functions as neededMaintain strict confidentiality of candidate and employee information at all timesPerform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational needsQualifications and ExperienceRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred1–3 years of recruiting coordination, HR support, or administrative experienceExperience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or HRIS platforms preferredStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)PreferredBilingual in English and SpanishExperience supporting recruiting in construction, industrial, or multi-site environmentsFamiliarity with multi-state hiring practicesJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.00 - $37.00/hr.
