The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a critical member of the recruitment team, responsible for managing the full-cycle hiring process. This role oversees everything from job requisition creation to candidate offer management, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for both candidates and hiring managers. Key responsibilities include sourcing talent through diverse channels, screening resumes, conducting pre-screen interviews, coordinating interviews, and maintaining clear communication throughout the process. The specialist will collaborate closely with hiring managers to refine strategies, gather feedback, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. Additional duties include maintaining the ATS, conducting reference checks with HR, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesJob Requisition & Posting ManagementPartner with hiring managers to create and manage job postings that accurately reflect position requirements, including roles for the Summer Intern Program with CMAA.Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline DevelopmentIdentify and attract candidates through job boards, staffing agencies, networking, and other channels. Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.Screening & Interview CoordinationReview resumes, conduct initial screenings, and schedule interviews with hiring managers. Assist with reference checks and manage personnel documentation.Candidate Communication & FeedbackMaintain timely, transparent communication with candidates throughout the process. Collect feedback from candidates and hiring managers to improve recruitment strategies.Offer Management & DocumentationPrepare and distribute offer letters and related documentation. Ensure accurate tracking and reporting within the ATS.Compliance & DocumentationCollaborate with HR and marketing to complete exclusivity agreements and LAWA submissions.Innovative Recruiting StrategiesResearch and implement new platforms, job boards, and networking methods to attract top talent.Reporting & Team CollaborationParticipate in team meetings, maintain tracking sheets, and provide regular recruitment updates to management.Required Skills & QualificationsCore Skills: Talent acquisition, full-cycle recruiting, ATS management, technical recruitingIndustry Experience: Minimum 5+ years in recruitment/talent acquisition within the AEC industry (architecture, engineering, construction)Preferred Experience: Recruitment for government projects (residential experience acceptable)Roles Recruited: Job captains, construction managers, architects, project managers, etc.Tools: LinkedIn Recruiter, AIA, Glassdoor, Indeed, and other recruiting platformsAdditional Requirements:Ability to manage a requisition load of 5+Familiarity with any ATS systemJob Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00/hr.
