We’re seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join our dynamic Technical Solutions Talent Acquisition team and support the attraction and retention of top talent for our high-performing HVAC/Mechanical Business Unit!
This is a Hybrid Work Arrangement (in-office 4 days/week) based in one of the following locations: Morrisville, NC – Charlotte, NC – Cumming, GA.
As an ABM Talent Acquisition HVAC/Mechanical Recruiter, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and hiring exceptional HVAC and mechanical technical staff and professionals across the East region of the US. You will partner closely with hiring managers to understand their workforce needs, craft recruitment strategies, and lead the full recruitment life cycle. This role is essential in ensuring our teams are staffed with skilled professionals who drive operational success.

Key Responsibilities
Partner with hiring managers to define staffing requirements and develop accurate, compelling job descriptions. Source, interview, and evaluate candidates for roles in HVAC, mechanical maintenance, and related technical fields. Build a robust pipeline of qualified talent through job boards, social media, professional networks, industry events, and employee referrals. Cultivate relationships with vocational schools, technical colleges, and industry organizations to connect with emerging HVAC/mechanical talent. Remain informed on industry trends, recruitment best practices, and legal guidelines relevant to HVAC and mechanical services hiring. Maintain candidate records and recruitment activity in applicant tracking systems; analyze and report on recruiting metrics. Ensure a positive, transparent candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Coordinate interview logistics and debriefs, facilitate feedback loops, and support offer negotiations in collaboration with hiring teams. Maintain regular communication with candidates, ensuring a streamlined, responsive hiring experience. Contribute to the onboarding and orientation process, helping new hires integrate into the HVAC/Mechanical division effectively. Collaborate across functions with HR, Compensation, TA Leadership, and internal business partners to ensure hiring alignment.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). Experience recruiting for HVAC/mechanical roles (including field technicians, installers, engineers, etc.) is strongly desired. Proven full-cycle recruiting experience in either a corporate or agency setting. Expertise in sourcing passive and active candidates, networking, and screening technical professionals. Skilled in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple requisitions simultaneously. Working knowledge of employment laws and compliance in recruitment processes.
